Francisco, I think this is informal. The GIMP CVS can be read by anyone. So I think all you have to do is pick out something you want to work on and let the list know you are going to do it. If someone else is already working on that same thing they will let you know. Then when you get something that you would like put in CVS let the list know and they will help you get things up into CVS. To a certain extent I think many on the GIMP-developer list do not pay too much attention to new volunteers until the new person actually does something tangible. They are expecting volunteers to be a self starters. You might also get in touch with Stefan Doehla, [EMAIL PROTECTED], as he is responsible for most of what is currently in CVS and he may be able to point you to specific things that he would like done that will help him move this along. Stefan also is a member of this list. You probably should take at look at http://developer.gimp.org There is a FAQ that has answers about how to get started. -- Hal V. Engel
