I would like to allocate a LUT with a null "3D grid", or an identity 3D
grid, so that the LUT contains only linearization tables and the colorant
matrix. This is being done in order to "promote" a matrix based profile to
one with a separate LUT for each intent.

So far I've tried calling cmsAlloc3DGrid() with the lutPoints parameter set
to zero, then saving this as the appropriate AtoB, BtoA tag.

The resulting profile looks good in ICC Profile Inspector, containing the
correct tables, etc, but I get an invalid profile error when I use the
profile in Photoshop.

Any help appreciated.

Mike
