Hi,
Yes, lcms can be used for display profile generation. You need to know:
- for RGB displays: primaries, gamma curves, white point
- for monochrome displays: gamma curve, white point.
Then you can use either cmsCreateRGBProfile() or cmsCreateGrayProfile()
Those functions return virtual profile handles, which can be saved to files using _cmsSaveProfile().
So, with two function calls you can actually create a display profile. You can also add description, copyright, etc by using cmsAddTag()
All that is explained in the tutorial.
