Kodak Cineon recommends a warmer color temperature of 5400K. See the white paper at http://www.filmlight.ltd.uk/documents/FL-TN-00-002.pdf for a table which lists the various color temperature standards.

My understanding regarding video is that it uses a gamma of 1.0 and is the linear equivalent to the electrical signal values which would be sent to a display device. Charles Poynton's "Digital Video And HDTV" seems to be a fantastic book on these subjects but I have not sat down and read much of it yet.
