sounds interesting.
- does it support both, 8-bit and 16-bit images?
So far, I am only generating 8-bit files. The moment I
need to generate 16-bit, I'll modify them to do that.
I'm also relying now and then in Gretag's ColorLab tool.
- does it support the conversion of two images with the same
dimensions (original image, and color-transformed version
of the image) into a single CGATS file?
Why not? I mean, tiff2it8 is kind of a dump of a TIFF file,
where the keywords contain specific tags, and the data set
contain the pixels, in RGB,CMYK, or LAB. You can do that
for each image independently, and later merge the two files
in an IT8 with two data sets. But I don't see its benefit.
My main use of these tools is to generate targets, with
additional color blocks and/or scanning marks. Fairly
limited usage to general images, I think.
Let me know what you need and I'll see if I can help you...
Regards,
Ignacio
