Dear Marti, I maintain panotools (more specifically ptmender and libpano) and I have been looking for code to read and write ICC data from/to jpegs.
I have look at the code of your program jpegicc and I experimented with it. I was quickly able to read the icc data using your routines. My question is, would you mind if I incorporate your code into our project? We are GPL. (I know lcms is MIT but I rather ask you). I would incorporate 2 files: iccjpeg.c and iccjpeg.h. I would update the files to add a copyright notice with your name. perhaps you should consider adding the routines to your library and then we will not need to copy your code into ours? Or even better, try to push them to the libjpeg project. thanks a lot! -- daniel -- Daniel M.
