Hi,

I developed the lcms BPC algorithm on 2002, and then Adobe disclosed its BPC
algorithm on 2005.
I've found both to be equivalent, despite the steps are different.

See Adobe BPC description here: http://www.color.org/documents/AdobeBPC.pdf
See mine here: http://www.littlecms.com/Black%20point%20compensation.doc

Be warned patents and copyrights may apply on Adobe's BPC.

Adobe BPC algorithm, i don't know if it is open source?

Kind regards
