Hi, first of all: excuses for cross posting!
I'm looking for some research paper or documentation on how to arrive at LUTs for ICC profiles originating from test target data (as in the .ti3 files from ArgyllCMS). I'm not really interested in a full implementation, but the theory behind it, so that I have got some influence on the implementation can also implement something like that *within* another application without the need to make use of external applications (meaning: I cannot take the path LProf has taken). Any pointers to literature explaining this process would be appreciated. This includes also material on curve fitting, optimisation, etc. Thanks in advance, Guy -- Guy K.
