Hi,
Thanks a lot, Guy, for your new version of the lcms bindings for Python.
We were just planning our efforts to incorporate them into our development
environment when I read your post...
First thing we need to do is to port it to Windows. However, we have seen
your wrapper exports some functions that are not accessible in Windows. For
instance, "cmsIsLinear" and "cmsSignalError" are not available from the
lcms.dll. My understanding is that, since Marti didn't tag them as LCMSAPI
functions, they were meant not to be used from user code, but only called by
lcms internal functions. Is this understanding correct, Marti?
So, I would suggest, in order to maintain a single wrapper source code,
platform independent, to modify the wrapper and not to export these
functions.
We will let you know how our porting goes, once we reach an stable status.
Regards,
Ignacio
