I am looking for a way to take a profile that was made as a CMYK (GCR K generation) and get just CMY lookups from Lab input values... Right now, if I give it a Lab, I will get appropriate K generation as expected. However, I need to backfigure just the CMY build (essentially undoing the K generation)... I had tried in the past (and asked here) about using the TYPE_CMY_16 conversion, but it fails since it must check that the profile was CMYK!? Anyhow, could one access the GCR curve data and basically 'undo' the K that is returned from the CMYK output values?
