I get frequently segfaults when using grayscale profiles for both input
and output and the image data is 8bit.
The segfault appears within the function PrelinEval8 within the file
cmsopt.c. It seems the values calculated for the X1, Y1 and Z1 values
there do result in a range outside the LutTable as used by the macro
DENS. No segfault appears when the flag cmsFLAGS_NOOPTIMIZE is added to
cmsCreateTransform but the resulting images are different to the ones
created with lcms 1.x where everything seems to works fine. If you need
one of the source ICC profile (as embedded into JPEG2000 image files) I
could try to extract it and send it to you, just tell me. The target
profile is just a simple grayscale profile, created 'on the fly' with a
sRGB gamma curve.

Otherwise all seems to work fine within the beta so thank you Marti for
your great work
