Hi,

I am evaluating LCMS 1.0 (waiting for 2.0 to get more run time) and comparing
the output with Adobe PS4.

Using a dye sublimation printer, I am finding that LCMS gives blue tinted
neutrals compared to PS4. About -7 dE more blue, so very noticeable. I am
wondering if this blue tint is expected from LCMS? Or if I am doing something
wrong? I would like to get more neutral output.

The printer profile was created using ProfileMaker 5.10, using D50 and 2
degree. The input image is sRGB and the input profile is from
cmsCreate_sRGBProfile().

The rendering intent used in both is relative colorimetric and black point
compensation is enabled for both.

Does anyone have an idea on why the neutrals would be shifted blue and how I
might correct this?

Thanks,
-Jon Freise
