vips-trunk is working well with lcms2 -- it passes the test suite with no errors, even under valgrind. vips makes the transform in the main thread, then uses it in multiple workers. As Esben says, I did need to set cmsFLAGS_NOCACHE. I wonder if the sense of this flag should be reversed, ie. the cache should be off by default? It would be safer.
