OpenICC is the correct name of the GSoC organisation, if students are interessted in full time summer colour management projects. > I've looked at icc_examin, but this merely wraps the argyllcms > iccgamut, which outputs a VRML file. Ideally I want to do this in a > thread in gcm-viewer using lcms2. ICC Examin has internal code to generate a gamut mesh, which is prefered as its faster. The first ~ 50 lines of netzVonProfil_() in ICC Examin's icc_oyranos.cpp deal with the initial hull generation. Its a simple collapsing algorithm[1]. ArgyllCMS' iccgamut is more accurate but slower. There are as well lots of papers around for the ICC gamut hull generation. regards Kai-Uwe Behrmann -- developing for colour management www.behrmann.name + www.oyranos.org [1] http://www.behrmann.name/wind/oyranos/icc_examin_2008.01.21.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Enable your software for Intel(R) Active Management Technology to meet the growing manageability and security demands of your customers.
