Sure, reading the profile ID instead makes colord disappear from the
profile chart :-)

Yup, this is what I've done, and it's made the I/O go from 6.102Mb to
1.137Mb and the CPU 278ms to 68ms, cold cache. I think that's quite
fast enough. :-)
