Hi, just a newbie question:
I'm trying to create PDF/X-3 files for brochures with Scribus. They should use the color profiles provided by printing providers. Scribus has a document settings dialog for enabling and configuring color profiles, and offers selections of all color profiles that come with Ubuntu. But when I try to add custom .icc files, either to /usr/share/color/icc or $HOME/.color/icc, Scribus opens and reads, but completely ignores them, and does not offer them as a choice. (Example: Pixum_color.icc which comes as part of the zip file to be downloaded under http://www.pixum.de/api/getClient/ch/f7921c73a4e3e50ae3560cfdb85cc020 from http://www.pixum.de/fotobuch/pdf/anleitung ) Since Scribus uses liblcms version 1, I guess this is an lcms issue. Interestingly, jpegicc has no problem with those profiles. Any idea what's wrong? best regards Hadmut ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Keep Your Developer Skills Current with LearnDevNow!
