Just to reinforce Marti's answer, we heavily multi-thread with LittleCMS (it's
a great way to improve the speed of doing a transform on a large system with
lots of cores) and have zero problems, though in general we're not working on
different images at the same time.
I am also not a C# expert, so I find it difficult to comment on the provided
code.
