Sorry, I'm new on the list, I haven't found any archives I could browse
to avoid repeating questions (please send me a link if there are archives).
This is really a simple question:
The core.schema organization and organizationalUnit does not allow the
country attribute, and being structural, I can't simply specify an entry
with both organization and country objectClass.
I need an entry like (the following is broken):
dn: o=MyOrg,dc=myorgdomain,dc=tld
objectClass: top
objectClass: organization
objectClass: country
o: MyOrg
l: MyCity
st: MyState
c: MyCountry
description: My organization is a government institution organized into
geographical units with country at the top, but we like to keep the
internet domain as the root dn.
So, what's the standard way of not breaking things while creating such
an entry?
And out of curriosity - is there any deep insight reasoning for not
allowing the country attribute for organizations?
