Hi,

I am using NTLdap.h header which comes with Microsoft's platform SDK to check
if a particular LDAP server is ADAM. I am using macro
'LDAP_CAP_ACTIVE_DIRECTORY_ADAM_OID' which is #defined to the OID which only
ADAM server returns. This use to work fine with msvc 6.0 compiler but now I am
upgrading to msvc 7.1 compiler and the program won't compile. The platform SDK
that came with the new compiler contains the NTLdap.h file but the macro
definition is missing from the header file.

Does somebody know about this inconsistency or why Microsoft has removed this
definition from new header file?

Does this way of knowing about the ADAM server no longer valid? If yes, than
can somebody suggest another way of doing the same?

TIA,
Shreerang
