Also, since you are using OpenLDAP, I highly recommend you use slapadd
instead of ldapadd, as that is the recommended method for initially
populating a database (and as I noted previously, much faster than ldapadd).
slapadd is only intended for use with known-good LDIF input. If you've
just thrown a bunch of data together it's better to use ldapadd to get
full error checking. Since older revisions of OpenLDAP had less strict
validation requirements, it's not even fair to say that any slapcat
output can be safely slapadd'd.
