Hello...
It might work, but it's not the recommended method. The recommended
method is to perform a slapcat on the master server and the a slapadd on
the slave server. Note, that if you are using the ldbm backend, that
you must shutdown the master server before doing the slapcat. No matter
what backend you are using, you must shutdown the slave server and
delete all the database files (with the exception of your DB_CONFIG
file) on the slave server.
