While defining the 'Attribute definition' for schema, is it possible to define range of allowed values for the attributes? I need to allow only value of only 1 to 50 for an attribute. Can we mention this in the attribute definition? Also, is it possible define the number of digits allowed for an integer attribute?
You do not state which LDAP server you are using, so, the short answer is that there is no method to do what you are asking withing the LDAP RFC's (that I am aware of).
You might be able to do this with the denyop overlay of the OpenLDAP 2.3 releases.
