We currently have a production installation of SuSE Email Server III, upgraded to SuSE Email Server 3.1 via the software manteinance.
Since we're about consolidating our LDAP servers, in a central LDAP server, we are setting a pilot installation to play an find out the needed steps avoiding crashes in our production server. The pilot installation was made with the Email Server III CD plus the availiable patches. We installed our pilot installation, and then we loaded into it the LDIF data of the production environment. After doing that we couldn't login as cyrus nor as any user. Doing some investigation we noticed that the LDAP server in the pilot installation was doing searches for (uid=XXXXX)(objecttype=Account). None of the users from our production environment is of type Account. Any help will be appreciated.
