Hi,

We are trying to reorganize our Local Area network of at most 130 employees by having a DHCP server. We wanted to store all of their workstation's ip address plus mac address plus their ldap account. Basically, we're looking at this scenario:

An employee will have his workstation's ip and mac address plus some relevant informations stored in ldap. Then, in the pcrouter/firewall, all unregistered ip+mac+username/password will not be allowed to use the network resources..

It helps us track down who is doing this, and who is doing that.Anyone have gone with this solution before?? An internal DNS would also be a good idea.. What do you think??

Thanks
