Hi,

It depends: you have to look at all details of the search, but I would like
to check first if you have defined an index on postalAddress keeping in mind
that some LDAP server take substring index entries STARTING with a lenght of
2 characters.
Why don't you check with a slightliy longer search string??

Regards

Giovanni

Betreff: [ldap] postalAddress not searchable with asterisk?

It is pertty strange that ldapsearch always return 0 results for
postalAddress search like this:

postalAddress=*a*

(varified there are a lot of entries with at least one 'a' in it)

Any hint?
