oh please. this pathetic "groupOfNames vs. groupOfUniqueNames" is
rather tedious (red herring, anyone?).
  as long as you just store DNs in the (unique)member attribute there
is no fricking difference whatsoever. and most people only store DNs
in uniqueMember, even if they *could* store some additional info (to
identify otherweise identical DNs).

since noone seems to need the additional info uniqueMember offers
most people just go with member/groupOfNames. as simple as that.
besides, plone is GPL and it should be rather trivial to replace
groupOfUniqueNames with groupOfNames if one really wanted to (not that
it improved or changed anything).
