My strong recommendation is NOT to use command-line tools in web
programs. Especially if you're not an experienced programmer you likely
end with yet another insecure CGI-BIN...
Use a decent scripting together with an LDAP module! Much less hassle.
It should be possible to find sample code. If you don't have a favourite
scripting language this is the right time to choose one.
