While it depends on the level of updates if all you are doing is
authentication I wouldn't be surprised if a box of this kind could pull
it off for 100 concurrent users.
If you are going to also be a real PDC and host netlogon and roaming
profiles (Samba) then no, you'll need a better I/O setup than a single
ATA drive; and probably more RAM.
