Dear list, I have enjoyed powerful ldap feature that let me search in
all language versions for a long time, e.g. if I search o=ABB I got
entries which have ABB in their default language (o) or in their
alternative langauges (o;lang-zh)
To put it simple, is it possible to search only in default language
(e.g. search for "o: Company Name") but not in alternative languages
(e.g. "o;lang-zh: 公司名称")?
Long background story is (only for those who are interested why I asked
this)
Now recently we are recaping (by human contact) the company
contact data. As political reasons we should start from
companies name starts with "A", then "B", then we got a problem:
We wish to first find all company whose name starts with "A",
but by doing search (o=A) we also located a company named "CDEF"
whose English name starts with C but the French name starts with
"A", these company's data is recaped by a human contact. Later
we go stage C and contact the company CDEF again, so the company
is contacted twice. To avoid this situation we should be able to
locate the companies starts with "A" only in the default
language
