Over the coming break I would like to upgrade my openldap servers

Has anyone else gone through this, and were there any gotchas?
I do not believe the bdb (also updated executables) database is
going to be affected by this, and so I am assuming that I should
be able to shut down the service, replace the binaries and restart
with the same database. If I am missing something critical, please
drop me a line. :-)
Hi,
You will be better served by joining the OpenLDAP lists.
The OpenLDAP site recommends __this__ list for questions
regarding LDAP in general, because the OpenLDAP lists are
for developers, etc..
Am I mistaken ? Openldap-software list is moderated...
cut from: http://www.openldap.org/lists/mm/listinfo/openldap-software
"About openldap-software:
This list is intended for discussion of technical issues specific to OpenLDAP Software. Discussion
of other software, as well as general LDAP issues, is to taken elsewhere. General LDAP discussions
can be taken to the U-Mich LDAP <[email protected]> mailing list. Discussion of non-OpenLDAP software
should be directed to a list intended to support that software. The list is strictly moderated."
