Hi, I'm trying to get my clients to be able to change their own password, for their Linux accounts but get the following error.
-bash-3.2$ passwd Changing password for user me. passwd: Authentication token manipulation error -bash-3.2$ I've looked through the manuals, FAQs and googled for this but I'm getting nowhere. I've been experimenting with "pam_password md5" and "pam_password exop" but it doesn't make any difference. I guess I'm going to need to put my LDAP Manager password into the ldap.conf, so it can log on as someone with the credentials to make changes... but this doesn't exactly seem secure. Any suggestions as to the best way of achieving what I'm after? Steve -- http://purechildren.co.uk http://begreen.wikispaces.com http://technicalbible.wikispaces.com Sent from Netherlands
