After aplying the recomended patch I dont see those reads in the control domain that were worrying me. So now I'm fine thanks. The response time to mkfile improved from 60 secons to just 45 seconds. My aplications write files in the order 10-20 writes per second so I believe disk wont be a problem for me. Actually that writing is asyncronous so I dont expect any trouble at all with the way things are now. I was not trying to benchmark I/O with mkfile I was just seen how iostat was looking in both, guest domain and control domain.
