You will need to do things to fix up references to devices that change. For instance, all of your disks and network devices will change. If you create flash archives of your existing servers you should be able to install those flash archives into LDoms, so long as they are running S10 11/07 or later. If the flash archive route is undesirable for some reason, after transferring the contents of your old servers to the LDom vdisks, you will need to do some combination of the following steps while booted from alternate media. - Remove rootdev entries from /etc/system - Run devfsadm - Fix /etc/vfstab to point at the new vdisks - Rename /etc/hostname.* to match new network device names - If running S10u6 or later (or similar patches), fix the boot archive with bootadm update-archive.
