Matt Hopefully you will get Dynamic Resource Management in the next version of LDoms Manager. This should allow you to set min/max cpu levels for any domain and the cpu utilisation of the domain will provide the actual amount of cpus used for the domain.
I wrote a prototype for this last year and the code is now being written to go into the next version. As we currently do not have dynamic memory allocation I am not sure if this will be part of the first release of DRM.
