Hi All
I was wondering if you can help me. I want to create a stand alone
server with a single tape drive attached. On this server I would like
to run 1 x Controller/ IO domain and 3 x guest domains.
All guest domains would be given a separate zfs from one zpool made up
from internal disks. Can I use the IO domain to run zfs snapshot of the
running guests or will the guests need to be shut down and unbound
before the IO domain would be able to access the zfs directories?
I understand that any snapshot of the root file system of a guest domain
while the guest domain is running could be inconsistent but I am just
wondering if it is possible at all.
