It sounds to me as though when they were configuring the control
domain they did:

    ldm add-vswitch primary-vsw0 primary

Rather than:

    ldm add-vswitch net-dev=e1000g0 primary-vsw0 primary

And as a result the control and guest LDoms can talk to each other but
the guest's packets are not being forwarded outside of the box.
