In that case, the ssd driver is used so you are not impacted by bug 6694540, and if you export /dev/dsk/c2t5006048ACCAB2449d36s2 then it should appear as a full disk in the guest domain.
If it doesn't, check if there's any error messages from the vds driver in /var/adm/messages on the service domain. Try to run "devfsadm -v" in the guest domain. alex Sharma, Balkishan (GE, Corporate, consultant) wrote: > Alex, > Here is the details of my LUN. > > ls -l /dev/dsk/c2t5006048ACCAB2449d36s2 > lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 90 Jun 25 13:33 > /dev/dsk/c2t5006048ACCAB2449d36s2 -> > ../../devices/pci at 0/pci at 0/pci at 8/pci at 0/pci at 2/SUNW,emlxs at 0/fp > at 0,0/ssd at w500 > 6048accab2449,24:c > > Thanks > > -----Original Message----- > From: Alexandre.Chartre at Sun.COM [mailto:Alexandre.Chartre at Sun.COM] > Sent: Friday, June 27, 2008 12:36 PM > To: Sharma, Balkishan (GE, Corporate, consultant) > Cc: ldoms-discuss at opensolaris.org > Subject: Re: [ldoms-discuss] ldoms-discuss > > > First ensure that you are exporting the slice 2 of the LUN (e.g. > /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s2). > > Second if your LUN is still managed by the emcp driver (although > PowerPath is disabled) then you will also face bug 6694540.
