From snv_77 onwards you can install a guest domain from a DVD/CDROM or directly from an ISO image. This support will also be available in the next S10 update release. Steps needed to use CDROM - make sure nothing in the service domain is using the CDROM - Assign the CDROM device to a guest domain (e.g. use cdrw -l to find the /dev/dsk/cXtXdXs2 path) - Boot from slice f of the virtual device that is backed by the CDROM/ISO (i.e just like a physical CDROM) e.g. /virtual-devices at 100/channel-devices at 200/disk at 1:f - proceed as usual -- Liam
