Do you have SXDE 1/08 on the control domain also ? If so, it's possible you are running into [6642088 console output problems with snv_79]. There's no workaround for 6642088 that I know of - it's fixed in snv_81. You could replace /usr/lib/ldoms/vntsd with a copy from a machine running another snv or s10u4 build and see if that worked. -- Liam
