I don't know about reusing a hostname, but you can do the following; 1. Define the domain and its virtual network as usual: ldm add-vnet vnet1 primary-vsw0 myldom1 2. Look up the MAC address assigned for it: ldm list --long myldom1 --and look for the assigned MAC address 3. Use that in the add_install_client as in this example (here, I supply the IP address and use the MAC address that LDoms displayed): ./add_install_client -s erp.central:/tank/OSimages/jumpstart/s10u4-ga -i 129.152.2.82 -e 00:14:4f:f8:b0:66 -n none myldom1 sun4v 4. ldm start the domain, and boot off the network device
I hope that helps! Jitendra Sasmal wrote: > Then how to give that mac id(given by ldom manager) to addclient ? > Addclient doesn't take new mac id for an existing hostname.
