You skipped the third and final step in the P2V process. This step 
(ldmp2v convert) upgrades the Solaris 9 image on the disk to Solaris 10 
so it can be booted on a sun4v system.

Running something along the lines of:

    ldmp2v convert -d /tmp -i /path/to/solarisdvd.iso flame

should do the trick.
