Hi again, my log in one of the machines was also saying : pmi_get_policy_by_snmp: Unable to get the PM Policy - timeout.
than I restarted the SC on that machine and the migration succeeded! actually my LDOMs are under SunCluster also. I traced the SC and saw that underneath it switches over the LDom by "ldm migrate", and if it fails to "warm migrate" it switches over the domain by stopping it on the source node , copy its configuration to XML file and build it on the second node, then starting the LDom there. so - maybe SunCluster can switch over your domain, but it's not likely it does it with "warm migration" if the primary domain can't communicate with the SP to get the PM policy. anyway , try resting the SP. thanks for the help, Ori -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ ldoms-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/ldoms-discuss
