I don't have an answer (or access to a T-box at the minute), but I
*think* I recall that a number of the ldm commands could output in an
easy to parse format that would would likely be able to build up some
scripts around.
The other thing I have done in the past is take the output of an ldm
list-* adn just whacked it into vi and stripped / prettied up manually -
surprising how quickly you can do it once you are into a rhythm...
:%s/foo/bar/g is your friend. ;)
That's where I'd be starting... Last time I tried to parse the XML for
this type of work, I gave up and tried something different pretty damn
quick...
Hopefully the other LDOM dudes will have something better.
Cheers!
NAthan.

I'm preparing to upgrade a T5220 from firmware 7.1.6.d and LDoms

1.3,REV=2010.01.07.23.26.
According to the Logical Domains 1.3 Release Notes - January 2010 (pg 17) I
will need to rebuild the Control Domain. The rebuild procedure on page 152 of
Logical Domains 1.3 Administration Guide January 2010 indicates to pick tidbits
from the xml file. That file is 23K for this server. Are there any tools for
creating the cli commands or is it all manual.
ls -lh primary.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 23K Apr 20 15:00 primary.xml
thanks for any insight,
Glen
