A practical reason to use more than one virtual disk server service (vds) is to
separate the types of backend storage devices used for guest LDoms. For example:
- primary-vds0: contains only SAN LUNs directly allocated to guests
- primary-vds1: contains only Veritas Volumes allocated to guests
- primary-vds2: contains only ZFS Volumes allocated to guests
- primary-vds3: contains only NAS/NFS files allocated to guests

In this manner you can separate and manage your storage allocations
independently for better mapping purposes (of course you could name them
appropriately as well such as SAN, VRTSVols, ZFSVols, etc.).
