Domain controller and LDOMS are all running latest patch cluster of Solaris 10 u8 My setup is like figure 8.3. where I create the IPMP groups inside the LDOM from seperate vnics connected to seperate VSW. This does not work as a link failure does not get detected inside the LDOM. I am unable to configure as in 8.4 due to the fact that T5220 does not have two different physical devices to be able to create two different service domains. The service domain uses the direct network interface e1000g and nxge which IPMP works well with. If I configure as in fig 8.5 and create a IPMP group from the two vsw groups will any vnic created from any vsw now be protected under IPMP?
