That's an awesome use for the Google API (well, entertaining
nonetheless)! Has anyone tried an app to take in addresses of members
of the Ward using the API (would that be legit?)? I did notice that
the new San Antonio temple is not on the map.

You can tweak the example code provided on the google maps api
documentation page to generate a map with each temple marked.
Zoom in on the temple of your choice and switch over to satellite
mode.
