I thought it was odd at first glance too. After inspecting it, I was able to get the 'bee in front of a honey-comb' meaning, but it wasn't obvious at first.
I don't know about others, but my thoughts went something like: "What is that...radioactive military wasp? Oh, bee. What's that thing he's on, a nuclear/biohazard symbol? Oh, hexagon. Bee, hexagon. Must be a honeycomb cell. Classic 'deseret' beehive-related reference, I get it. I wonder if others do..." No offense intended to the creator of the graphic, of course.
