Checkers release candidate 3 has been released for linux only. - Integrated Byron's "cleaner" patch for "pygame 1.6-2" on debian-based distros. - Fixed the tar-balling so that checkers untars into it's own versioned subdirectory
Let me know if RC2/RC3 doesn't run on your favorite distro.
