You hit the nail on the head. From my
understanding, yes this is the issue. Calling information is currently
sent to the stake, but church headquarters doesn't store and keep track of
this. Also from my understanding, a solution to this is allready
in progress. Changes to MLS is being made so that calling information
will be sent to headquarters first (and recorded) and then it will be sent to
the stake. If I'm not mistaken, I've heard the next step will be to
utilized that info on unit websites, the same way membership is.
I don't know when this is scoped to be complete, so
just keep plugging away on the callings for now and know that a solution is
probably in the not so distant future.
