That is so true. Being a developer myself, I magically forget that my OSS programs need documentation for people to use it. Sometimes it just totally slips my mind what its like being a user. :)

That's another thing -- feedback is always appreciated. In most cases they probably won't respond right away since their pet projects are usually something they only work on occassionally, so don't feel dejected if you don't hear back immediately.
